Public Meeting: Misty Creek and Meadowlark Drive Drainage Study10/17/2019SD1 has been made aware of recurring flooding issues in the vicinity of the intersection of Turkeyfoot Rd. and Meadowlark and Misty Creek Drive, near the boundary between Erlanger and Edgewood.

SD1 has enlisted the help of CT Consultants, Inc., to analyze the drainage conditions of the area, identify the issues involved and make recommendations for how to address these flooding concerns.

Residents of this area who have potentially been affected by this flooding are invited to participate in this meeting to review initial findings of the investigation and to get additional input from those impacted by the flooding to help determine sources of flooding and possible solutions.

If you are available to attend this meeting, it would be very helpful to aid in better understanding the extent of the drainage/flooding issue by providing any information you may have (pics, videos, observations, etc.) in order to develop a possible solution to mitigate future flooding. If you are unable to attend this meeting, we would still like to get your input.

Household Waste Collection Event11/02/2019The Northern Kentucky Solid Waste Management Area and the Northern Kentucky Household Hazardous Waste Action Coalition are joining forced to help you properly dispose of unwanted items. Residents of Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties can drop off select items.

We will ONLY accept:
- Aerosol cans
- Antifreeze
- Batteries (all types)
- Corrosives/flammables (fuel, kerosene, etc.)
- E-scraps (computers, monitors, keyboards, printers, cell phones, etc.)
- Ink cartridge/toner
- Light bulbs
- Oil
- Paint (10 can limit)
- Paper (documents to be shredded)
- Pesticides (2 gallon/2 pounds limit)
- Propane tanks (20 pounds only)
- Televisions (limit 2 per vehicle)

All residents who plan to drop off items MUST visit http://www.nkyhhw.org to print and complete a registration form prior to attending the event. Please bring completed form with you on the day of the event. The completed form will greatly help with the flow of traffic and will reduce your wait time.

We will NOT be accepting: appliances, fertilizer, mercury-containing devices, medications or tires.
Storm Water Working Group Meeting11/14/2019SD1 will hold a meeting of the Storm Water Working Group of the SD1 Board of Directors on the second Thursday of each month at 9 a.m. at 1045 Eaton Drive in Ft. Wright, Ky.
